A-Welded Pipe

Welded steel pipe, also known as welded pipe, is a steel pipe made by welding steel plates or strips after being curled and formed, generally with a fixed length of 6 meters. The production process of welded steel pipes is simple, with high production efficiency, multiple varieties and specifications, and less equipment investment, but generally lower strength than seamless steel pipes.

Since the 1930s, with the rapid development of high-quality strip rolling production and the advancement of welding and inspection technology, the quality of welds has been continuously improved, and the variety and specifications of welded steel pipes have been increasing, replacing seamless steel pipes in more and more fields. Welded steel pipes are divided into straight seam welded pipes and spiral welded pipes according to the form of welds. Classification by production method: Process classification - arc welded pipes, resistance welded pipes, (high-frequency, low-frequency) gas welded pipes, furnace welded pipes.

Smaller diameter welded pipes use straight seam welding, while larger diameter welded pipes mostly use spiral welding; According to the shape of the steel pipe end, it is divided into circular welded pipes and special-shaped (square, rectangular, etc.) welded pipes; According to different materials and uses, it is divided into welded steel pipes for mining fluid transportation, galvanized welded steel pipes for low-pressure fluid transportation, and welded steel pipes for belt conveyor rollers. According to the specifications and dimensions table in the current national standard, they are sorted in ascending order by outer diameter * wall thickness.
